Mommy Emotions

There are a lot of factors that contribute to us moms feeling like we’re going crazy. It’s being interrupted so often that we can never finish a complete thought. It’s the brain cells that die during each pregnancy. It’s the lack of sleep. But I think the biggest factor is the intense range of emotions we experience on a daily basis. Maybe it’s the hormones, maybe it’s how seriously we take this whole mom thing. Whatever it is, the emotions are a rollercoaster ride that leaves no one unscathed. Can you handle the ride?

Mommy Emotions

How I feel when the first kid wakes up:

How I feel 5 seconds later when EVERYONE is awake:

How I feel before my first cup of coffee:

How I feel after my first cup of coffee:

How I feel when the four-year-old draws me a picture:

How I feel when I see he ALSO drew all over the couch:

How I feel by lunch time when I haven’t eaten in 20 hours:

How I feel after my first shower in three days:

How I feel when I get the kids all down for a nap:

How I feel when someone rings the doorbell during nap time:

How I feel when the doorbell wakes up a kid:

How I feel when the laundry is done:

How I feel when I remember that actually the laundry isn’t done. Ever.

How I feel when I load all of the kids into the van for the store:

How I feel with all of the kids at the store:

How I feel about making dinner:

How I feel about cleaning up dinner:

How I feel about a day full of disciplining the kids:

How I feel by the time my husband gets home from work:
